The Selection Process

Looking Beyond the Grades

Admissions at Skyfall International Academy is a bespoke process. We acknowledge that academic transcripts, while important, are historic documents. We are interested in your future potential. Consequently, we do not rely solely on algorithms or grade cut-offs to select our cohort. We review every application holistically, seeking evidence of intellectual curiosity, resilience, and a capacity for divergent thinking.

Entry Requirements

For Sixth Form (16+): We typically require a strong set of GCSEs (or international equivalent), with particular strength in the subjects chosen for A-Level. However, the decisive factor is often the Academic Interview. Candidates will meet with a subject specialist to discuss their interests. For Art and Design candidates, a portfolio review is mandatory. We are looking for raw talent and an ability to articulate creative decisions.

For Undergraduate (18+): Competition is rigorous. Standard offers for our Computer Science and Economics programmes are high (typically AAB-A*AA or equivalent). Yet, we frequently make contextual offers to students who demonstrate exceptional aptitude in our Internal Entrance Assessment—a problem-solving paper designed to test logic rather than rote memory.

For Postgraduate: We require a good Honours degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline. More importantly, applicants must submit a Research Proposal outlining what they intend to investigate during their time at Ludgershall. We are looking for scholars who already have a burning question they need to answer.

International Applicants

A Global Community in the UK Countryside

True to our name, we welcome students from across the globe. We understand that moving to the UK is a significant step. Our Admissions Team provides dedicated support for visa applications (Student Route) and helps international families understand the nuances of the British education system.

We require proof of English language proficiency (IELTS or equivalent) for all non-native speakers, ensuring that every student can fully participate in our seminar-style learning environment.
